 i hate the term lssj. goku is the lssj. so ima just call broly's buff form ssj grade 4 from now on. basically ussj except stronger and faster. alternately ussj3. would this make things simpler?
besides even in his own universe he isn't the big bad legendary saiyan once goku beats him.
gohan is like "oh hes just a super saiyan my dad beat 7 years ago." and vegeta cant be relied upon. remember he called goku and kid trunks legendary in the manga. and he said broly was unbeatable, which we know to not be true.

'lssj" is an innacurate term in the first place. isnt it broly's title? yet people randomly call the buff form lssj. when its little different to the "fake ssj" goku did in lord slug. just alot more muscles.
alternately, you can therefore call it "false" ssj2. theres just no given name for it in the actual movies so grade 4 or false ssj2 seem more accurate.

 Well Broly is a legendary super saiyan its a completely unique transformation he doesnt just get bigger he gets a completely new body the old one explodes off of him
Super saiyans are legedary as in the form but being a legendary one is entirely different
How is it like the fake one? Its completely different except the fact that an aura is present

 Broly is the Legendary Super Saiyan, not Goku.

- He was born with a PL of 10.000
- He never trained to achive SSJ, he did it because he was meant to, due to his status as Legendary
- He has a unique SSJ transformation
- Being in the LSSJ state his power increases as the battle progresses
- Goku didnt defeat him alone, he needed the energy of 3 MSSJ and one Super Namek, to add more, he even survived

 ok, neo. off the tardism.

1. only goku and gohan were mssj, and it can be argued that they actually didn't master it in the broly timeline, but not because they left the rosat early, because thats just stupid.

2. broly's power does not increase during battle, his ki replenishes faster than he can effectively use it, giving him pretty much unlimited stamina.

3. we do not know the event surrounding broly's first transformation, we just know that he has a naturally high pl.

 Legendary Super Saiyan is the name of the form, as named in a guidebook IIRC. It's its own separate form and Broly happens to have it.

No, because it's actually the name of the form. So it'd be misleading to call it something else.

There's an official name for it and that's what it's called. God dammit, now I have to find the article I'm referring to, and that's just a *****. Well, Movie 8's entry in D6 classifies it as its own form. I'll see if I can find more.

Well, it took the sun to defeat Broly completely. Also, the Legendary Super-Saiyan is his title set by Toei, Vegeta calls him the Saiyan of Legend. The Super-Saiyan after the Namek Saga is pretty much child´s play, we find out that pretty much every Saiyan and Saiyan Hybrid can reach the form, though, Broly´s LSSJ form can only be reached by him. That´s why i think he is the Legendary Saiyan since he can only reach this one special form.
Once upon a time, there used to be a signature. Then it got lame, and now I'm out of options for a new one.

Would have been so much better if they gave him his own saga instead of making him a movie villain. He could have gotten much more character development.
